          In Sri Lanka we can see a Jury system operating in the High Court.The jury system consists seven persons.The special fact about it is,those people who are engaging for the jury are normal people.They can be selected in rural or urban areas.If anyone likes to present as a member of the jury he or she can ask about it from the high court and then to be registered.In Sri Lanka the jury system only appears for criminal cases.Such as murders,rape cases and attempting to murder. If a guilty person ask for a jury system,then the high court called seven members of the jury and join them to the case.
